At least 3 U.S. service members were killed over the weekend in Iraq and Jordan, where back-to-back Iranian attacks on a U.S. base seem to have evaded defenses.
The latest attack comes after three American service members died in the conflict recently, including one who was killed over the weekend while detonating an Iranian drone. The other two died Friday in strikes in Jordan.
The U.S. attacks were the ninth consecutive day of bombing since peace talks between the two countries collapsed in dispute over a memorandum of understanding focused on the Strait of Hormuz.
